Last week, Grade 3 & 4 students learnt about how Chinese New Year is celebrated among the Chinese community. They learnt about the importance of giving and receiving red packets. They were excited about making them and they hoped that there would be a surprise in them on Chinese New Years day.
The Grade 5 & 6 students also celebrated the New Year by making the Year of the Ox papercuts for their class display. They look beautiful on their classroom windows. Unfortunately, the language program has been interrupted this week due to the Covid 5-day-lockdown. Hopefully, it will be back to normal next week. Stay safe.
