Today the students looked at ‘The Goldfish’, 1912 by Henri Matisse and discussed what they could see. We broke his painting into sections and looked at how they were drawn. The students drew their own version on a piece of A3 paper, then collaged some fish from old paintings, attaching these to their drawing with supertac. Today the students have used watercolour paint kits to add colour to their pieces from last week. Today the students added finishing touches to their artworks by using coloured pencils, black textas and posca markers.
